  6.   Description: Sapphire is a bulletin board system optimized for business
  7.                and institutional applications.  It can be installed in less
  8.                than 5 minutes and does not need daily maintenance.  It is
  9.                particularly popular with consultants, service companies and
  10.                new sysops.
  11.                Sapphire's Zero-Maintenance design makes the program
  12.                appropriate for business applications; the BBS can run
  13.                unattended forever.  Old messages, files, users and usage
  14.                logs are automatically cleared away by "fuzzy logic"
  15.                algorithms.
  16.                Sapphire provides standard BBS features such as messaging,
  17.                electronic mail, file transfer, and a text library.  It also
  18.                provides advanced features such as "doors" (external
  19.                programs) and "events" (daily scheduled execution of
  20.                external programs).
  21.                Sapphire offers a natural user interface using English
  22.                words. Special commands allow the user to set up filters for
  23.                the display commands, making it possible to zoom in on
  24.                important material.  To save time online, all display
  25.                commands default to "Show me what's new".  The
  26.                message-reading procedure features a "guided tour", complete
  27.                with an online note-pad, which enables you to process new
  28.                message traffic quickly.  An optional accounting feature
  29.                enables you to export usage records to a spreadsheet or
  30.                database, so you can bill users for online time, downloads
  31.                and so on.
